Cottonwood Creek Cowboy’s first cowboy action shoot was in March, 2007.  The matches are held the third Saturday of each month at the Canyon Gun Club.

The range is located east of Hidetown, White Buffalo Country, (Snyder, Texas); 9 miles  from the Hwy 180/Hwy 84 overpass.

Travel east on Hwy 180 approximately 3 miles, turn north on Hwy 1673,  go 2 miles  to Camp Springs Road, turn right and travel 3 miles to the Northeast Community Center. Turn north on County Road 1105, travel ½ mile and the range will be on the right. A gps coordinate close to the area is 32.750174,-100.776204.
